We are looking forward to welcoming the celebrant and preacher Fr Paul Lawlor OP.

Fr Paul, a native of Tralee, is prior of the Irish Dominicans' San Clemente community in Rome. An archaeologist and foremost expert on the beautiful Basilica at San Clemente, Fr Paul is currently overseeing the ambitious restoration, conservation and development work at the present 12th century upper Basilica and the underground layers of the 4th century Basilica and the lower again 2nd century Mithraeum. See more about the San Clemente Project.

The exceptional restoration work carried out by Sr Gabriela Wind of our statue of Our Lady of Fatima has served to draw many more to Holy Cross to venerate Our Lady.  Sr Gabriel undertook this first restoration in June 2024, returning in April 2025 to work on the statue of St Martin de Porres -  another beautiful restoration.

We invite all to join us in Holy Cross for the upcoming triduum May 11th - 13th.
