Prior Fr David McGovern OP and the Community at Holy Cross look forward to welcoming Fr David Barrins OP as the celebrant and preacher for the May Mass in honour of St. Carlo Acutis which takes place on Monday 18th at 7:30pm. Mass shall be followed by individual blessings with the relics of Saint Carlo.
Our Children's Rosary group will lead the evening Rosary before Mass at the earlier time of 6:45pm as the children continue to honour the Blessed Virgin Mary during the month of May.
Fr David OP is based in the Dominican Priory of St. Eustace, Newbridge College and is the Provincial Promoter of the Dominican Laity.
He is also the Director of the Irish Dominican Rosary Apostolate. The Apostolate recently launched the dominicanrosary.ie website which provides information about the Dominican Rosary Confraternity and how one can enrol in the Confraternity.
Holy Cross Lay Dominicans Women's Chapter meet in St. Anne's Chapel on the first Friday of the month at 8pm after evening Mass. The Men's Chapter meet on the second Friday of the month at 8pm after evening Mass.
