The Provincial Chapter of the Irish Dominicans is currently taking place at St. Mary's, Tallaght. On August 28th last, the capitulars re-elected Fr John Harris OP as Prior Provincial. We pray for Fr Harris as he guides the Irish brethren over the next four years.
Our prior Fr David McGovern OP is one of the Chapter's capitulars. Last week, Fr David was elected to the Provincial Council. We pray for Fr David, and all elected to the council, as they take on this additional role of supporting the Prior Provincial in the governance of the Irish province.
At Holy Cross, we continue to pray for the Chapter over the coming weeks.
